Aloe Vera plants are a bright and cheery addition to your houseplant collection, as well as the perfect starter plant for a new plant parent! Aloe Vera is known for the soothing gel in it's leaves. (it is the clear gel INSIDE the leaf - when you cut, allow all the yellow fluid to drain before peeling back the skin to get the gel)  Botanical Name: Aloe barbadensis miller. Thrives in bright light.
