These ceramic pots will hold most 5" to 6" Nursery pots, but not the wider, shallow 6".  (They measure 6" to the outside edge).

I do not recommend planting directly into these pots, but rather use as a decorative cover pot with a nursery pot liner.  This way you can remove the plant for watering and draining, as these pots only have one drainage hole which is inadequate.
